Hi!
I’m Hilary, a professional actor and producer based in New York City. I’m a 2019 graduate of the Tom Todoroff Studio Conservatory, an in-depth, intensive actor training program in New York.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Spanish from NYU, and worked for some time as an organic farmer before choosing to pursue my passion for the stage.
I love Shakespeare. I’m a founder and the Associate Artistic Director of Elsewhere Shakespeare, a small Shakespeare theatre company based in Richmond, Virginia. I run a weekly online study group called the Shakesnerds, where we do a deep dive into Shakespeare’s text, untangle the language and discuss rhetoric, character, story construction, embedded stage directions, and make discoveries together.
My recent professional credits include Ariel in a staged reading of After the Island by David Rowland at Silverthorne Theater, a turn as Autolycus and Hermione in Rude Groom’s production of The Winter’s Tale, and Cordelia and the Fool in Elsewhere’s one-day production of King Lear.
